Suma Rao Professional Corporation was founded by Suma Rao, Barrister & Solicitor, B.Sc., M.A. LL.B (India) and Certificate of Qualification from National Committee of Accreditation (NCA), Ottawa, Canada.
She was called to the Bar by the Bar Council of New Delhi (India) in Jan 1992. She practiced in Supreme Court of India in Delhi, India from 1992 to 2000. After that she immigrated to Canada, she then got Certificate of Qualification from National Committee of Accreditation in Canada and was called to the Bar by the Law Society of Upper Canada in November 2004. Since then she has been practicing as a Lawyer in Mississauga, Canada in the area of real estate and immigration.

She is a member of Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Bar Association. She is also a Member of Bar Council of India. She Received Gold Medal for securing first position in Bachelor of Law. She also Received Gold Medal for securing first position in Bachelor of Science from President of India. She has a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Suma Rao received Hind Rattan Award at New Delhi, India in the year 2012 for excellence in Legal field. Before that she was nominated for Hind Rattan Award in the year 2009 and then in the year 2011.
She also received Global Achievers Award at the House of Lords, London for excellence in legal field in the year 2014. Since 2000, her field of practice is Canadian Immigration law and real estate. She personally oversees every file and every client. She believes that client service is the heart of a successful law practice.
