Express Entry Canadian Immigration
Express entry is the name of the Case Management System. It’s an online application system. Three categories of applications for permanent residence can apply under the Express Entry system In Canada :
- Federal Skilled Workers
- Federal Skilled Trades
- Canadian Experience Class
Express entry is a two-step process-
- The first profile is submitted. Information about skills, work experience, language ability, education, and other personal information are submitted. After that application moves to the pool.
- Candidates within the Pr Express Entry Application system will be ranked against each other based on a point system called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). The Government of Canada/ Provincial Governments will then selects an application from the pool. Another point system of 1200 is used to rank the applicants. The highest-ranked applicant, or those with valid job offers or provincial nominations, will be invited to apply for Canadian (PR) permanent residency, then within 60 days need to submit an application for permanent residence and comply with the requirements. The job offer is not mandatory. Applications will be processed within six to ten months from the date of submission. The applications will be in a pool for 12 months, after that could be resubmitted.
