Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
While Canada’s immigration program is primarily run by the federal government’s Ministry of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, each of Canada’s ten provinces have their own small immigration program. Through these programs the provinces nominate for permanent residence those individuals who wish to immigrate to their province and meet the specific criteria of the Provincial Nominee Program In Mississauga. Human Capital Category

Ontario Express Entry: Human Capital Priorities Stream
Ontario’s allocation under the Provincial Nominee Program has grown in last years. Ontario has revised the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score requirement for its Express Entry-linked Human Capital Priorities immigration stream. Previously minimum requirement for Ontario was CRS 400, now the Ontario has removed the minimum requirement of CRS 400 and the guidelines now say the minimum score will be “as determined by the director.” Ontario selects the application and issue Notification of interest, after that nomination application is filed.
The OINP also uses the Human Capital Priorities Stream to conduct occasional tech draws for Express Entry candidates with work experience in six tech-sector occupations.

Ontario French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream
One must be able to understand, read, write and speak French at a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher. One must also be able to understand, read, write and speak English at CLB level 6 or higher.
International Graduates Streams
Ontario’s two International Graduate streams target international students who have recently obtained a master’s or doctoral degree from an eligible Ontario university.
Masters Graduate Stream
This Provincial Nominee Program In Mississauga targets individuals who have graduated with a master’s degree from an eligible Ontario university. A job offer is not required.
PhD Graduate Stream
This stream targets individuals who have graduated from a PhD program at an eligible Ontario university. A job offer is not required.
Employer Job Offer Category

Business Category
Entrepreneur Stream
This Provincial Nominee Program In Mississauga is designed to attract individuals who are looking to implement a new business initiative or buy an existing business in Ontario. Successful applicants will obtain a temporary work permit support letter – based on a performance agreement – to establish the business in Ontario. If the investment and job creation agreements outlined in the performance agreement are adhered to, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to be nominated for Canadian permanent resident status.
New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP)
Through the NB Provincial Nominee Program, prospective immigrants with the skills and experience targeted by the province may receive a New Brunswick provincial nomination certificate. With this nomination, foreign nationals may then apply for Canadian permanent residence. The NBPNP accepts applications under the following immigration categories:

- Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream

New Brunswick Express Entry Stream
The New Brunswick Express Entry Provincial Nominee Program is designed for Foreign Nationals with the skills, education and work experience to contribute to New Brunswick’s economy, who are ready to live and work in New Brunswick and meet the requirements for each stage of the Express Entry Stream.
- The New Brunswick Express Entry stream is currently accepting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) via the INB portal from individuals who are currently living and working in New Brunswick; a letter of employment from the employer must be provided
- New Brunswick will, on occasion, invite candidates directly from the federal Express Entry pool in response to provincial labour-market needs. Candidates selected in this manner will receive a Notification or Letter of Interest (LOI) from the Province of New Brunswick via their Federal Express Entry account.
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)
Manitoba Express Entry Pathway
The Manitoba Express Entry Provincial Nominee Program is for candidates demonstrating high human capital with skills, training, and experience related to Manitoba’s In-demand occupations list and a strong family connection to Manitoba. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate experience in an occupation listed in Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations list and have strong family connection to Manitoba
Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP)
The Atlantic Immigration Pilot is a fast-track Provincial Nominee Program that allows employers in Canada’s four Atlantic provinces — Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island — to hire foreign nationals for jobs they haven’t been able to fill locally. The Atlantic Immigration Pilot is an employer-driven program that facilitates the hiring of foreign workers. All principal applicants arriving in Canada under the pilot program must have a job offer from a designated employer and an individualized settlement plan for themselves and their family.
The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP)
Alberta’s Provincial Nominee Program consists of three streams: The Alberta Opportunity Stream, the Alberta Express Entry Stream, and the Self-Employed Farmer Stream. The province issues provincial nominations to foreign nationals who meet program-specific criteria and demonstrate an intention to reside in the prairie province.
How the AINP selects Express Entry Candidates
Only those Express Entry candidates who receive an invitation, or NOI letter from the AINP can submit an application for a provincial nomination under the Alberta Express Entry Stream.
Eligible candidates will be contacted directly by the AINP through their Express Entry profile.
The AINP will select candidates based on the self-declared information in their Express Entry profile.
Provincial Nominee Program Candidates In Mississauga may receive a NOI if they:
- Have an active Express Entry profile in the federal Express Entry pool.
- Have stated an interest in immigrating permanently to Alberta.
- Are working in an occupation that supports Alberta’s economic development and diversification; and
- Have a minimum CRS score of 300.
In addition, the AINP is more likely to select candidates with one or more adaptability factors. The candidate must:
- Have a valid Alberta job offer and/or work experience; and/or
- Be a graduate of an Alberta post-secondary institution with a valid Alberta job offer; and/or
- Have Parent, child, brother and/or sister who is a permanent resident living in Alberta, or a Canadian citizen living in Alberta.
Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP)
The NSNP is Nova Scotia’s Provincial Nominee Program. Through this program, prospective immigrants with the skills and experience targeted by the province may receive a Nova Scotia Provincial Nomination Certificate.

Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry
The Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry stream selects highly skilled individuals who wish to live in Nova Scotia permanently
Category A (for applicants with a job offer) will remain open.
Category B (for applicants with experience in an opportunity occupation) is expected to open and close throughout the year.
Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry
Nova Scotia uses the federal government’s Express Entry immigration selection system in order to select candidates for this stream, which provides a pathway to permanent residence for highly skilled applicants who have worked for a Nova Scotia employer for at least one year.
Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities
The Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities Stream allows the province to select Express Entry candidates who meet specified labour market needs. The skilled occupations specified under this dynamic stream can change with each invitation round.
Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities for Physicians
The Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities for Physician stream selects Express Entry candidates who have an approved job offer as either a general practitioner and family physician (NOC 3112) or a specialist physician (NOC 3111).
Skilled Worker Stream
The NSNP accepts applications under this stream from individuals who have received a job offer from a Nova Scotia employer. Workers in skilled, semi-skilled, and low-skilled occupations may be eligible to apply.
Occupation In Demand Stream
The Nova Scotia Occupation in Demand Stream is designed to target specific NOC Skill Level C related jobs that are in high demand in the province of Nova Scotia.
Entrepreneur Stream
The Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) Entrepreneur Stream is designed to attract individuals who wish to start or acquire a business and settle permanently in Nova Scotia.
International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream
The International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream is open to graduates who have completed at least two years of full-time study from a recognized Nova Scotia university or Nova Scotia Community College, have operated their own business in Nova Scotia for at least one year, and intend to settle permanently in Nova Scotia.
Physician Stream
The Physician Stream is open to internationally-trained general practitioners, family physicians and specialist physicians with a signed employment offer from Nova Scotia’s healthcare authorities.
Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)
The SINP is Saskatchewan’s Provincial Nominee Program. Through this program, prospective immigrants with the skills and experience targeted by the province may receive a Saskatchewan provincial nomination certificate, after which they can apply for Canadian permanent residence with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
The SINP accepts applications under the following categories:
- International Skilled Worker Category
- Saskatchewan Experience Category
- Entrepreneur and Farm Category
- International Graduate Entrepreneur Category
International Skilled Worker – Saskatchewan Express Entry
Among other requirements the candidates must:
- Have been accepted into IRCC’s Express Entry pool and have an Express Entry Profile Number and Job Seeker Validation Code;
- Score a minimum of 60 points out of 100 on the SINP point assessment grid.
Expression of Interest (EOI) Points Assessment Grid
Candidates in the SINP’s International Skilled Worker Category Expression of Interest (EOI) pool are assessed according to the following five factors: education and training, skilled work experience, language ability, age, and connection(s) to the Saskatchewan labour market and adaptability. To enter the SINP EOI pool, Provincial Nominee Program candidates are required to score a minimum of 60 out of 100 points in the EOI Points Grid, among other eligibility requirements, in order to be considered.
